Bram van Amelsvoort
Bram is the founder and owner of NLD Construction. Born and raised in The Netherlands, he had a 15-year career in the Dutch event industry as a project and production manager, owning a reputable production company and mainly organizing large-scaled music events.
Eight years ago, he began transitioning to the construction industry with a curiosity to help homeowners build beautiful things that lasts. Bram likes to combine his project management skills with hands-on experience to guarantee successful implementation and execution of the projects. NLD Construction is a small, incorporated, and fully insured construction company, providing a wide array of construction work. We collaborate with trusted subcontractors and subtrades wherever necessary to meet the requirements and tailored needs of a project. By keeping the company small and overhead costs low, we have an opportunity to offer quality work at a considerably better price than larger renovation companies and builders.
Bram lives in Guelph with his wife, daughter and dog. He enjoys spending time with his family and friends, being outdoors, camping, canoeing, playing tennis, and takes great pleasure in his work. Connecting with people and building something they will enjoy for many years are what drives him. Doing the right thing, being honest, respectful, and reliable are his core values!

Preliminary Budget and Feasibility
In the second consultation, we provide a rough estimate of the budget and discuss practical considerations and feasibility. We also assess the timeline for the project and decide whether to proceed to the next stage.
Project Proposal
During the third consultation, we present the scope of the project and a preliminary budget. This stage includes a detailed discussion of the project’s specifics, leading to a signed agreement to move forward.
Design Phase
Our specialized designers create a tailored design to meet your renovation needs. We arrange meetings with subtrades to discuss their work and explore renovation possibilities. This phase concludes with an in-depth scope of work, a revised estimate, and a signed contract.
